The basic plot of this play is simple. Einstein meets Picasso in a bar in Paris and discover that their two different and respective fields are basically the same. In addition to this there is the questoin of if talent is better or worse than genius or hardwork. The characters all interlock in some way that seems to be pre-ordained by a deity with a great sense of humor.
The time that these people meet is before they have published their great peices of science or art and are still trying to get recognized, but need confidence to get started.
The character to get Picasso started is the visitor in the form of Elvis, dead and from the future. Einstein doesn't really get a jump start and is viewed as crazy for the style of his book, even more so for his audience being only one man.
The charactersall have their own opinions of art, science, and the future. They are very strong in their beliefs but can look at things in a different way when explained by the revolutionaries in the book. Some people change their opinions based off of facts given by the revolutionaries. It is very difficult to try and understand the iner-wokings of the characters minds, except for a few.
